FCHS WISH LIST

SPECIAL  WISH
We desperately need a 50-gallon hot water heater.

FREQUENTLY, WE RUN EXTREMELY LOW ON PROPER FOOD FOR OUR ANIMALS, AS WELL AS OTHER SUPPLIES. It is kitten and puppy season now, so Purina Kitten Chow and Purina Puppy Chow is in low supply. Right now, we also badly need those big, hard rubber chew toys for our big dogs. We request diabetics to donate new, sterile insulin syringes still in their plastic packages. These syringes make treating the tiniest of kittens much easier, and more comfortable for the kitty!

Right now, we especially need unfolded newspapers because it's PUPPY SEASON!  Can you help by unfolding your newpapers, discarding slick sheets, stacking them, and then rolling them up and tying or rubber-banding them?  Bring them to the shelter and come in if we're open, or put them in the blue benches on the front porch.  Thank you ever so much!

Please help us by bringing in a bag of the foods mentioned below.  Because our medical protocols require the animals always to have quality and freshness, we ask you call ahead to make sure of just what brands we need. Other brands will be donated to a charity for people who cannot afford food for their pets.  THANK YOU FROM OUR ANIMALS IN NEED.

The Franklin County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental,

privately run organization. We take in approximately 4000 animals each year.

We do not receive any tax dollars or funds from national humane organizations.

Your tax-deductible donations are vital to our existence.

To make a secure donation to help with our approximately $1000 per day operating cost, please click on "Make an Online Donation" on the left menu. Thank you!

Holly and Emily, 7th grade students, held a neighborhood
drive to gather supplies from the wish list
and cash donations. We're so impressed and thankful! What great kids!!
